粉紅頑皮爆 Pink Panther Nails

Bought the new Instant Nail Effects in pink by Barry M yesterday at Boots, quite like the result of this Pink Panther nails, bringing colour blocking into nails, lol.
昨天在Boots買了這個Barry M 新出的粉紅爆裂甲油，塗出這個「粉紅頑皮爆」甲，撞色撞到甲上喔 ！

MARY KATRANTZOU SS11

Starting off the first post with the Greek designer Mary Katrantzou and her SS11 collection  “c’ est ci nes pas une chambre” (This Is Not A Room). Known as the the Queen of hyperrealism, I found her surrealist prints and the structured lampshade skirts very interesting and one-of-a-kind. The inspirations behind this collection came from graphic interior fashion shoots of Guy Bourdin and Helmut Newton to the interior architecture from the grandeur of the white house and to the glamour of 70s east coast hotel rooms. Pretty amazing, huh? Turning interior designs into fashion designs.

打頭炮為大家介紹的是希臘設計師Mary Katrantzou和她SS11 collection “c’ est ci nes pas une chambre” (這不是一間房)。 被喻為寫實主義繪畫(hyperrealism)皇后, 我喜愛她今季的圖案，非常有創意, 她設計的燈罩裙更是獨一無二！她的設計慨念來自Guy Bourdin 和 Helmut Newton的室內設計攝影，富麗堂皇的白宮室內建築及70年代東岸酒店房間。她將室內設計融入時裝設計，厲害吧？

Loving this lampshade skirt with fringe details, the visual effect of the fringes moving is just brilliant.
這條燈罩裙加上流蘇設計，流蘇跟著裙襬，給人一流的視覺效果。

Also the colours palette of this outfit is so harmonic.

This is my favourite piece in the whole collection, the structured black and gold shoulder design caught my eye instantly. To wow you even more, the angled pelmet techniques techniques used in curtain making was employed in making this shoulder details. And the colour blocking of pink and green brings a summer-vibe.

這是整個collection中我最愛的設計。最吸引我的是金色配黑色的結構膊頭設計，她用了做窗簾的angled pelmet技巧弄的。粉紅色撞綠色更顯夏日氣色！

Although Mary Katranzou is a relatively new designer, her use of patterns and colours in her collections is innovative and unique. I am definitely following this designer and can't wait for her next collection.

雖然 Mary Katranzou是新進的設計師，她的用色和圖案設計非常創新和獨特。我一定會繼續留意她的設計！

My inspiration in creating Fashion.Lust.Love comes from my lust/love relationship with fashion. My previous blog is mainly about outfit posts and everyday bits and bobs. Stepping into the fashion world made me craving to know more about it and how it interacts with our culture. I would like to record my thoughts and share them with all of you out there who is fashion-conscious. Bon Voyage, let this journey begins!

時裝大牌檔與Fashion. Lust. Love確實扯不上關係，這是因為我想不到一個傳神的中英對照blog 名。我之前的blog 主要分享配搭和生活點滴，在時裝大牌檔我想與大家分享我喜愛的品牌和它們背後的故事，時裝與文化藝術的互動。這就是「大牌檔」這名的由來（當然也有我對大排檔的喜愛和回憶）。
